As the Membership Chairman of the 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans, it is my pleasure to assist you with membership into our organization. The New Orleans Chapter is extremely excited that you have made a decision that you will not regret.
The vision of The 100 is to mentor, encourage and commit your personal time to the youth and community of the Greater New Orleans Area. Your commitment is a testimony that you are diligent in improving the quality of life for young children in your city. If you are a person that is educated, dedicated and structured in community outreach, then we look forward to working with you in making this chapter and community the best it can be.

100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans Chapter
The membership process is as follows:
- Letter of Interest – You are required to write a letter (1 page maximum) to the chapter explaining why you are interested in becoming a member of the 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans.
- Interest Form – an application can be completed online or downloaded from this site and once completed, submit your application by e-mail or in person.
- Resume – A resume is needed to assist the organization in assigning you to one of our community development and chapter programs.
- Background Check – The chapter does conduct a local background check on all of its members.
Once the chapter has reviewed your documents you will be contacted within two weeks, by the membership chairman to outline the membership process. During the membership process, you will be interviewed. At your interview you will be informed on all rules, guidelines and membership standards that are required. All fees, membership dues, chapter assessments will also be discussed at your interview. Upon completion of your interview you will be informed of the committee’s decision.
